This was difficult to write, and I have been trying to do it for months. If you feel attacked after reading this, there may be hope for you. You, however, will have to take that first step. Perhaps this in an intervention.

To the trump supporter,

You claim you are not a racist, but impeached president* trump is.
You claim you are not a misogynist, but impeached president* trump is.
You claim you are not a xenophobe, but impeached president* trump is.
You claim you are not a homophobe, but impeached president* trump is.

Don’t believe that impeached president* trump is those things? All of them can easily be found truthful by stepping out of the fox ‘news’ reality distortion field. That and about three minutes on google.

When you unabashedly and unconditionally support impeached president* trump and his maskless minions, what does the world think of you? One of two choices here, you have no cognitive ability, or you simply cannot tell the truth. Simplespeak: You are an idiot or a liar. If both shoes fit, both shoes fit.

How does that affect ME? Why am I writing this? Just getting this out there.

If you are an enabler of impeached president* trump
If you are a supporter of impeached president* trump
If you take ANYTHING impeached president* trump says as truthful

You are lost to me. I have neither the skill set or bankroll to deprogram you from the cult you are in. You are actively engaged in hating and hurting other humans and I just cannot abide that. The Buddhist in me may not judge you for that, but the human in me does.

If you skipped ahead part: If I know you and you support impeached president* trump, I can probably sustain some small talk with you. Beyond that, being around you causes me physical distress. I am a gregarious person by nature, but just knowing that about you makes my skin crawl. With some of you, TBH, your history of saying and doing racist things goes back far beyond an impeached president’s tenure. You have had ample time to understand how those things may be hurtful, but have chosen not to.

And since you have steadfastly refused to even consider an opinion other than your ‘own’ as possibly true . . . this is where we part ways.

We may occupy the same planet or even the same family tree, but that is about the only place our circles overlap on the Venn.

I hope that whatever deity you pray to (Or profess too pray to.) can somehow get you to care about all other people. Not just the straight/white/christian ones. I have been unable to.
