Continuing in the same vein as my last entry, of course.

The metal this time is aircraft.  Specifically the B-25 Mitchell, named in honor of General Billy Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation.

Anyhow, the week after I got my Vette, I was looking for a short jaunt and I spotted the Doolittle Raiders Reunion.  This one was hosted at the National Museum of the USAF near Dayton, Ohio.  Initially, I was expecting to see perhaps five of these wonderful old aircraft.  Imagine my surprise when I saw this display.  Of course, more aircraft meant more visitors.  It was an absolute madhouse, actually.  And windy.  Uncomfortably windy.  And I spent more time idling in traffic than I did actually admiring the planes.  But I toughed it out, and here are a handful of images from the trip.
