As in the things you see in a studio window.  After hours.  While hanging out with friends in North Bend, Washington this August, I happened to spot this in the window of a local studio.

I am not sure exactly what purpose it serves, but it looked different enough to warrant a picture.  This was taken with the diminutive Sony RX100 right through the glass.  So far, I am really enjoying this little camera.  It has done everything I've asked it to with a minimum of fuss.  There are some things I don't like about it.  Not being able to force a white balance in some of the semi automatic modes is a bother.  But it has a decent amount of pixels and I can hand it to just about anyone over the age of eight and they pretty much know how it works.

No way I'd try that with my Leica. ;-)

Also worth checking is my new and experimental studio mark in the lower left.  (it may scale a bit funny, depending on your screen size) It's easy enough to replicate in black, white, or whatever.  And if it looks obtrusive, I can always dial back the opacity.

So do you like it?  Love it?  Hate it?  Sound off in the comments.
