I figured that would get everyone's attention, including google and bing. So bear with me for a bit and I'll preface this with some anecdotal goodness that I took away from a conversation with the late Don S. Davis.
One thing that Don loved talking about was the story arc for Major Briggs in season three of Twin Peaks.
(There is a Twin Peaks spoiler coming up, so if you haven't seen it all the way through, book mark this and come back later.)

Anyhow, the storyboards for season three had Major Briggs leading the mission to get our good Dale Cooper out of the Black Lodge. This would have been a recurring part of the season. Which would have been epic, considering the length of a TV season back then.
This genesis for this image was the shots of Coop's room at the Great Northern when it showed the things he had placed on the night stand/end table next to his bed. For this image, I visualized what we would have seen midway through the season after the Major pulls off his daring rescue.
I wanted to show something really dark and mysterious, so this was shot on a black fabric sweep. A single strobe from the left at exactly 25 watts is diffused by a light tent. A forty inch gold reflector is camera right. Black and white conversion is a secret family recipe I concocted back in the days of PhotoShop 6 or so.
Agent Cooper still life 2
So what does this image suggest? Let's look through from left to right . . ..
The good Dale is back from the Black Lodge, thanks to the efforts of Major Briggs (and I suspect a handful of the bookhouse boys). And he is still staying in room 315 at The Great Northern. After trying the Smith and Wesson 1076, he scaled back to the tried and true 1911 pistol in .45 ACP. This one naturally has a few modifications and rides in a cowhide and ostrich skin holster. Gordon Cole has also brought along some of those newfangled pager thingies for his agents working afield. Coop is now a bookhouse boy, but hasn't decided what to do with the patch Harry Truman gave him. Lastly, his more formal wristwatch has given way to something more robust in the form of an all stainless chrono style.
Or this is just a pile of gadgets from my prop closet. ;-)
